Description

The PU-4200 Series HPLC Pumps are used for conventional HPLC, RHPLC, and UHPLC applications with a max pressure of 1,300 bar (130 MPa).

The last two digit of pump model name, i.e. PU-4280/85/86/87/88 represents each of flow-rate ranges:
  • 80: up to 10 mL/min (conventional to semi-prep, up to 10 mm I.D. column)
  • 85: up to 4 mL/min (semi-micro to conventional, 1.5 to 4.6 mm I.D. column)
  • 86: up to 20 mL/min (conventional to semi-prep, up to 20 mm I.D. column)
  • 87: up to 50 mL/min (to semi-prep, 20 to 30 mm I.D. column)
  • 88: up to 150 mL/min (up to prep, from 20 to 50 mm I.D. column, up to 30 mm I.D. SFC column)


The PU-4200 Series HPLC Pumps have two expansion bays that allow an isocratic pump to be transformed into a powerful gradient solvent delivery system with optional solvent selection for method development. Inert pumps are noted by an “i” after the name (i.e. PU-4280i), binary pumps are noted by a "-BI" after the name, and Low Pressure Gradient Quaternary pumps are noted by an "-LPG" after the name (i.e. PU-4280-LPG).
